Clinical Directors
Vana Ekmekjian-Thomson, MSW, LCSW
As a therapist, I am committed to walk alongside you as a partner in your healing. I am here to support you as you navigate through life’s challenges and help you access the inner strength and wisdom that lies within, and achieve true inner healing in the process. I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic partnership, and together, we can work toward creating balance in your mind, body, and spirit. My aim is to help you reclaim a sense of wholeness, find peace within yourself, and thrive in all areas of life.
I provide counseling for individuals of all ages, couples, and families. Always client-centered, my therapeutic style is rooted in a Psychodynamic and Humanistic approach to explore and heal deeper emotional wounds. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to offer practical tools for managing anxiety, stress, challanges with executive functioning, OCD symptoms, and emotional regulation. For couples, I utilize the Gottman Method to help strengthen communication, resolve conflicts, and deepen your emotional connection. By blending these therapeutic approaches, each client receives unique and specialized care, designed to nurture emotional well-being and inner healing.
Rosine Baklayan-Fares, MSW, LCSW
At the core of my work is a belief in the importance of guiding you through the ups and downs of your healing journey, recognizing that healing is not a linear path. I understand that the process of growth and recovery can be filled with both progress and setbacks, and I am committed to being there for you at every step, offering support and encouragement along the way.
I offer counseling for individuals, adolescents, couples, and children, with a focus on creating a compassionate, safe space for healing and growth. Trained in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), I work with clients to explore and express deep emotions, enhance emotional connections, and resolve relational challenges. I also work in helping individuals navigate major life changes, children’s behavioral issues, and emotional regulation difficulties. My approach is rooted in client-centered therapy, integrating EFT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and attachment-based theories to provide tailored, effective support for each person’s unique experience.
I am passionate about addressing unresolved trauma, anxiety, and emotional struggles with an approach that honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit. I believe that true healing comes from a balanced approach, helping clients not only process their emotions but also restore harmony within themselves. Whether working with children, individuals, or families, my goal is to guide you toward inner healing, personal growth, and a deeper sense of peace, using a compassionate and integrative approach that nurtures all aspects of your well-being.

We are committed to guiding our clients toward deeper emotional health, fostering resilience, and helping to restore a sense of balance in their lives. At the core of our work, we believe in finding and addressing the root cause of your challenges, which will make inner healing possible.
